When you're watching a live auction, you'll see a little megaphone button on the top right of the bidding applet. Just click it to hear what’s going on at the auction.
If the auctioneer is not broadcasting sound this button will say "AUDIO NOT AVAILABLE".
We work hard to ensure auctioneers have the right equipment and environment to broadcast sound, and do many tests at the beginning and throughout the auction to keep that connection loud and clear. But this isn't always possible, usually due to things outside our control like a weak internet connection.
You should also check that the device you're using has the sound turned on and working speakers available to broadcast sound. In other words, just check you've got the sound up on your computer, tablet or mobile.
If this doesn’t fix it, message one of our auction gurus through the live chat and we’ll do all we can to help.
Ultimately, the audio and video feeds are for your entertainment and you should rely on the numbers showing on the bidding applet window as the primary way to follow the auction and make your bidding decisions.
